Hunter Pruett

I'm a Neo Scholar and now work at Ramp as an Applied AI Software Engineer in Manhattan. You can read about my spreadsheet agent I built at Ramp's builders blog.

I attended UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) for my B.S. from August 2024 - June 2026.

At Berkeley, I enjoyed studying machine learning topics like Q-learning and reinforcement learning (from CS 188 at Berkeley), and find topics from CS 70 incredibly interesting, like RSA encryption and the Halting Problem.

On any free time I have remaining, I play piano (mainly Armenian compositions by Arno Babadjanian and select Chopin pieces, although I struggle with these), ski during winter, hike when I can (arguably the best form of cardio), play chess, and do a lot of other maybe not smart random things.

I also take on many of my own projects, including an automatic trading system that uses LLM's to execute trading strategies, and a remotely-deployed off-grid IoT hosting network. (Read about some projects here)
